Once again, Rutherford Public Library will host Summer Reading Clubs for all age groups – children, teens, and adults – in 2026. Sign up for your respective club below. All three programs run from May 1 – September 26 and are open to Rutherford residents only. Thank you to the Friends of the Library of Rutherford for funding the prizes for this year’s programs.
Children
Our classic offering for kids! Read books and win prizes all summer long.
Every Kindergarten through 3rd grade classroom in the Rutherford Public School District will be visiting the library this spring and will be given the opportunity to register for the Summer Reading Club at that time. If your child is outside those grade levels or does not attend public school in Rutherford, use the form below to register your child!
Teens
Teens can casually stretch their reading muscles over the summer with our YA Summer Reading Program. Read a book, get your card punched, and earn a trip to the prize box!
Adults
Adults receive a bingo board that can be completed by reading books, using our apps, and attending library programs. Choose what works best for you!
