In Our Library
RPL’s physical collection contains tens of thousands of print books for all ages. Our main floor houses our children’s collection, featuring books geared towards infants through sixth grade, as well as new books, adult fiction, and large print. Our mezzanine houses adult nonfiction, our young adult collection, featuring books for students in grades 7-12, and foreign language materials. Click here to see our Circulation Policy.
Our foreign language collection includes materials in Spanish and Korean, as well as ESL materials for individuals learning English.
BCCLS Catalog
Rutherford Public Library’s catalog also has books and materials from 77 other libraries in the greater Bergen County area.
Rutherford belongs to a cooperative called BCCLS (pronounced “buckles”). You may request that books from other libraries be sent to Rutherford for you to pick up, or you may use your card in person at other member libraries. See a list of locations here.
