The Rutherford Public Library is grateful for your support. We are fortunate to have two nonprofits that augment our municipal funding, the Rutherford Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Library of Rutherford. The Foundation focuses on capital projects and has funded large ticket items such as our new teen lounge, the electronic sign on our front plaza, much of our 2016 renovation, and furniture throughout the building. Please note, the library accepts donations of used books only on established dates throughout the year. The Friends of the Library typically collect books the first weekend of every month, as well as for two weeks leading up to their semiannual sales. We no longer accept donations of DVDs or CDs. For specific dates, please check the Friends page.
